NEW!

Efficient Instrument Control and Workcell Scheduling Software for any platform.

SRUN Software for Lab

S-RUN -

  • provides all instrument control and the scheduling required to run an automation workcell.

  • is completely scalable and can be used on the simplest systems (e.g. loading a single instrument) to the most complex systems (controlling the work flow around an large workcell with several dozen instruments and multiple robots).

  • is supplied ‘per socket’, to ensure a cost-effective solution for all sizes of workcell. A socket is a connection to an instrument, via an instrument driver.

  • is the first laboratory automation scheduler and control software that contains

  • both dynamic (event-driven) and static (timedriven) scheduling on one platform. The simple dynamic tiles interface enables complex routines to be rapidly and easily developed.

  • is an elegant, easy-to-use software solution for control and scheduling of your automation platform.

What this means to you:

High level user interface

S-RUN can be run from any web browser (although we recommend Google Chrome for the best user experience) and has been developed for easy operator use. Scalable - S-RUN is as happy running a large automation system as it is loading a single instrument.

S-BASE - built-in database to hold all your runtime information and data.

High level user interface

Software for scheduling and control software

High level user interfaces

Overlord can be run from a number of high level user interfaces, geared at easy operator use. For instance; Overlord is as happy running a large biobanking system as it is loading a single instrument.

Assay Manager™

Assay Manager is a multi-user automation environment. Researchers add their samples to the automated system when required any time of the day, even when the system is running. The user can select either one or a series of different assays to be run. Assay Manager also
supports kinetic assays, which require plate reads to be made at precise time intervals. Overlord remains in the background, handling the complex scheduling involved.

Perfect for multiuser applications, enabling users to queue their samples until a slot in the schedule is available to process them. There is also functionality to queue-jump important samples and get them processed faster.

Assay Manager™

Customer database

Overlord may be controlled from a LIMS or
database by either calling a command line with
parameters or full integration with complete
control by C# or VB.NET. This tight integration
provides reliable data flow to and from the
database and is ideal in large scale automation
applications.

Customer database

Overlord is fully scalable and can be used on the simplest systems, loading a single instrument, to the most complex, controlling the workflow around a huge workcell with several dozen instruments. It is supplied 'per socket' to ensure a cost-effective solution for all sizes of workcell.

A socket is a connection to an instrument via an instrument driver.

Overlord is the first laboratory automation scheduling and control software that seamlessly integrates both dynamic (event-driven) and static (time-driven) scheduling on one platform. It's simple drag and
Drop interface allows complex routines to be developed quickly and easily. An elegant, easy-to-use software solution for controlling and scheduling your automation platform.

Software for scheduling and control software

Software removes complexity, reducing automated system operation to a simple task with a simple user interface.

Configurability

Harmony is easily configured to your instrument and
application.

Sample Tracking

The barcode reader option verifies samples during reading and stores barcode data with the results. If a barcode is unreadable, Harmony retries twice. If it still fails, it processes the plate and creates a 'pseudo barcode ID' (plate number, time, and date), notifying the user.

Run time operation

Harmony keeps you fully aware of the runtime status,
number of plates processed etc. The run status is clearly
displayed. The run may be stopped or paused at any point.

Error handling

In the event of an error, an alert appears on the Harmony
screen and an automatic email is sent to the user or user
group alerting them of the situation.

QC Log

A log file is generated throughout the run, containing a run
header, plate ID and processing times.

Touch screen

Harmony supports a wide range of touch screen input
options (numbers, text, drop down lists, tick boxes)

The Harmony package features

Harmony™

The Harmony user interface is simplicity itself! It replaces the complex options and flow diagram, usually seen with laboratory automation software, with a simple step-by-step touch screen input. The user follows the standard operating process by answering a series of straight forward questions presented. Once the final question is
answered and the summary screen accepted, the system is ready to go. When the run is finished the user may be alerted by email. Harmony is perfect for instrument loading and unattended operation.

The Harmony touch screen interface for Overlord lab automation software offers easy operator interaction. Just press the 'Start' button, follow the prompts for batch information, and Overlord handles the rest, including sending an email once processing is complete.

A simple way to manage your kinetic assays in a high usage environment.

Platform independent

S-RUN's web interface lets you control your automated system from any device—iOS, Android, Windows—via desktop, tablet, or smartphone, no app download needed. It works from a local PC or the Cloud, but you'll need a base computer to manage the instruments.

Factory automation

Integrated support for PLC
(programmable logic controller) technology

Assay Manager is the solution to running multiple kinetic assays; batches of plates can be added with values for the number of read steps and the interval between reads.

It enables multiple users to queue their samples for processing, even when there are batches of plates being processed.  Reads will be scheduled to run even when the system is unattended.

Simply answer a few questions about your assay, load the plates, hit ‘go’ and walk away.  Assay Manager turns operating an Overlord™ controlled workcell into a simple procedure, requiring minimal training.
