Relid Station Re-Grip Nest, 450mm

Nests can provide an additional position to complete a re-grip or de-lid sequence, increasing the versatility of the robot within the system.  Also known as a plate park.

Some instrument nest positions have tighter tolerances than others.  Adding a re-grip nest can verify that the microtiter will go from a loose tolerance nest to a tighter tolerance nest without interference from the plate catching on the instrument nest.

The ability to run plates with lids can benefit many users' processing plate production.  Some instruments require the lids to be removed before a plate can be placed in the nest.  By adding two nests to the robot's footprint, the arm can remove and replace lids by placing the lidded plate on one nest, removing the lid and placing it on the other nest.  Sequences can be created to do this.
